Welcome to Multi-Sports Massage

Multi-Sports Massage is run by Rebecca Wolfe, an experienced award winning Soft Tissue Therapist with International experience. Whilst in Australia she worked for the largest Sports Clinic in Western Australia. The clinic has forged close links with the Australian Institute of Sport, where Rebecca treated several local members of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Squad.
Rebecca was encouraged by Australian Ironmen friends to train for her first Triathlon. The 50 metre swimming pools and dedicated cycle routes made training enjoyable, as did the sunshine. Training after work soon became a daily occurrence and continued when arriving back in the UK.
Rebecca has set up a sports therapy clinic in Leicester and has quickly established relationships with triathlon, swimming and running clubs. The success is in no small part due to Rebecca’s skill and knowledge of the human body and a passion for sport.
Multi-Sports Store was launched in Spring 2010 as a sister company to Multi-Sports Massage. Rebecca and the team at Multi-Sports Store’s goal is to combine free professional advice and affordable prices on a varied and growing range of the latest products relevant to our clients.

Multi-Sports Massage FAQ's

Can I have a Massage treatment at home?
Absolutely! We offer all treatments in the comfort of your own home. We only charge an additional £10 on the treatment fee to cover our travel / set up time. We will bring everything necessary to ensure you have a stress free experience.
What do I wear for Sports Massage?
During the treatment we aim to treat the initial cause of the problem, this often requires stretching and massaging you in different directions. So it is essential you feel comfortable. It’s helpful for us if you wear baggy shorts or light stretchy underwear. We can perform massage through a towel – so don’t worry if you are rushing from work and forget your shorts!
HELP! I’ve just had a baby and need a postnatal massage.
Don’t worry we have a number of ways to help.
1. How about taking the hassle out of travelling to the treatment room, for an additional £10 we will come to you? You can relax in the comfort of your own home and soothe away those new post-pregnancy aches and pains and from lifting and carrying your baby.
2. Or how about turning a normal mum and baby coffee morning into a Yummy Mummy Pamper morning?
Whilst you meet up with your friends, take advantage of having plenty of people around to look after your baby/toddler and take it in turns to have a 30 minute treatment.
Multi-Sports Massage will come to your coffee morning with everything required to make each treatment perfect! All is required is a room big enough to be able to walk around a massage table (and possibly a slither of cake!)
3. You can bring your new arrival to the appointment. We will keep an eye on your little-one while treating you. You may want to try to co-ordinate a nap time if you have got a routine or just come armed with plenty of cuddly toys and entertainment!
Is sports massage for me?
Whether exercise is taking the dog for a walk or running a marathon we treat you as an individual and not by your fitness levels or sporting ability. Sports massage is a style of massage that aims to provide the recipient with a specific solution to muscular aches and pains, rather than a general full body massage.
Is a sports massage painful?
At Multi-Sports Massage we don’t just believe in the ‘no pain no gain theory’. As we aim to find the underlying cause of your discomfort, you may find some areas more uncomfortable than others. We encourage clients to communicate honestly throughout the treatment to ensure that they are comfortable with the pressure and technique being used – If you require more or less pressure, just ask… You can’t offend us!
After your massage your therapist will provide you with advice to ensure you receive maximum benefit from your treatment. Advice may include stretching, having a hot bath or ice therapy to reduce the post massage tenderness. The sensitivity usually only lasts a day or so, while the body heals itself.
Can I get a sports massage treatment before or after work?
Yes. Multi-Sports Massage offers appointments (from 7.30am) 2 mornings a week and 3 late evenings (until 8pm) a week.
What is cupping therapy and can I try it in Leicester?
Yes at Multi-Sports Massage.
Cupping therapy uses glass round shaped cups. The air is removed then the cups are applied directly to the skin to create a partial vacuum. The vacuum encourages blood, oxygen and nutrients to the muscles and is useful for areas such as the Iliotibial band (ITB) as it has a weak blood supply. It is not unusual for cupping therapy to leave temporary round painless ‘bruise like’ marks for 2-5 days after the treatment.
Massage Opening Hours
Early mornings – From 7.30am: Monday & Wednesday
Late nights – Until 7.30pm: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

She is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of treatments and theories. Rebecca is always there for advice and support. I now regard her as a friend more than my therapist. Sharon James, Business proprietor |
| Rebecca is a wonderful role model for her profession. There are few sports masseurs that are actually sports therapists and she is definitely one of them. We have recommended her to others and will continue to do so without hesitation and with complete confidence that our recommendee’s will be given the best care and service. Mark & Suzy Perry, Ironmen |
| I had a car accident 5 years ago, causing chronic back problems. Rebecca assesses me and provides treatment according to my aches and pains at each visit. I often need a neck, shoulder and back massage to relieve any tension. Rebecca is a professional, friendly and considerate therapist. Debra, Nurse |
| As a father of a small child, most of my sporting exploits have now been put on the back burner and replaced by dirty nappies and toddling practice. It therefore felt a tad indulgent to have a treatment for old injuries gained through boxing, rugby league and trail running that had never properly healed. After a number of treatments from Becki, however, I am gutted that I didn't go to her sooner. I entered the treatment room as a limping, hunched up mess and left feeling six inches taller and able to actually twist to look behind me for the first time in years! I have recommended Becki to numerous friends and family who have all been thrilled with her professional approach and genuinely effective treatment. I no longer consider my treatments as indulgent and now look on them as a necessity for helping me to move normally and thus get on with life. Thanks a million Paul, Runner |
